The HTC Dream (also T-Mobile G1, HTC G1, Dream G1) has the following access codes to display some device information. These codes are specific for the Dream model running the Android OS.
*#*#info#*#* gives phone & battery info, lock to 3g or 2g, APN/SMS Message Center numbers.
*#06# Display the IMEI.
*#*#8351#*#* Voice Dialer Logging Enabled.
*#*#8350#*#* Voice Dialer Logging Disabled.
*#*#4636#*#* Phone Setting.
*#*#7262626#*#* FieldTest Information.
With the 'Voice Dialer Logging Enabled' option, the phone will store the last 20 Voice Dials as .log and .wav files in /data/data/com.android.voicedialer/app_logdir.
0# brings up the dialog - "reading sim contacts".
N# = load contact info at location N from the sim card and populate the dialer.
This sequence changes the ring time before switching to voice-mail:
1. Enter *#61*11# and press Send/Talk on your phone.
2. Note the number your calls are currently forwarded to - this is your voicemail deposit number.
3. Decide how long you want the phone to ring in 5 second intervals. Maximum time is 30 seconds.
4. Enter **61*[number from step 2]*11*[number from step 3, use 2 digits]# and press Send/Talk to set.
